Second Annual Glen Park Art Festival Brings Together Local Art, Families

The beautiful Glen Park, with its cascading waterfalls in the Village of Williamsville, will be the setting of the second Glen Park Art Festival, July 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Festival will be held in Glen Falls, 252 Glen Ave. in Williamsville.

Local artists, musicians, entertainers, restaurants and families will come together for a family friendly day in the park. Glen Park is jointly owned by the Town of Amherst and the Village of Williamsville.

More than 40 vendors will be present at the festival, including fine artists, photographers, jewelers, wreath designers, potters, yard sculptures, and wildlife artists. Local high school art and Maple West art work will also be displayed. A massage therapist and state renowned henna artist will also be at the show. Community service tables include the Williamsville Business Association, the Amherst Paw Park and the Williamsville Library. The Friends of Harmony, Amherst Band Duo, Sweethome Jazz Combo, Rinca Na Tiarna Irish Dancers, belly dancers and poets will perform throughout the Festival.

Local Village restaurants ranging from Coffee Culture, Dickster’s hotdogs, Milos, The Irishman, Eagle House, Glen Tavern, Creekview, Prosit, Sorrentino’s and Sweet Jenny’s will provide a variety of food.

The Glen Park Art Festival is sponsored by the Town of Amherst Arts and Culture in Public Places Board, the Williamsville Business Association and the Village of Williamsville.
