Blink-182, the band that helped define the pop-punk genre will perform at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Thursday, August 11. The potty-mouthed trio is co-headlining the 10th anniversary Honda Civic Tour with My Chemical Romance and special guest Manchester Orchestra. 

"Attending a Goo Goo Dolls concert during the summer has become a rite of passage for Western New Yorkers. The Goos made their annual return to Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Friday, July 29.

Shortly after 9 p.m., the hometown crowd erupted into cheers as their heroes hit the stage to kick off their 90 minute set. After opening with new track Last Hot Night in America, the Goo Goo Dolls got down to business jumping into fan favorites Slide and Here is Gone.... "

LEWISTON, NY – Massive crowds are nothing new to Artpark & Co.

The non-for-profit organization, which operates the performing arts venue inside the Village of Lewiston state park, has produced at least a half-dozen shows with audiences exceeding the 20,000 mark since recommitting to its free, outdoor concert series in 2004. Typically, Artpark’s “Tuesday in the Park” draws between 8,000 and 12,000 music lovers each week.

The next two “TIP” acts, however, are far from typical. Headliners Lynyrd Skynyrd (July 26) and ZZ Top (Aug. 2), two acts that normally command big-ticket prices, will perform for free.

The audience for each show, “could be 40,000. We don’t know,” Artpark & Co. President George Osborne said. “I don’t believe there’s ever been anything like that in Lewiston (at one time).”
