Clarence in the Spotlight With WNED's Our Town

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Experience life in Clarence, N.Y. through the eyes of 22 residents who captured the people, places and happenings of their hometown for the latest installment of WNED-TV’s OUR TOWN series.

In June, the volunteer filmmakers videotaped topics of interest or unique town assets, including history, architecture, schools, businesses and natural places. Their video footage was edited and compiled into the television program, OUR TOWN: Clarence. The volunteers also were interviewed about the topics they covered, and their commentary serves as the narration behind the program.

The resulting “video scrapbook” premieres on WNED-TV Sat., Sept. 25 at 6:30 pm.

Great Kid: Clarence Teen is a Master Pianist

Kevin O'Neill profiles an extraordinary musician from Clarence:

It started with the violin at age 6. Joseph Mohan has had a love affair with music and performance as long as he can remember. He took up piano at age 7, and now he's a few days away from his freshman year at the elite Juilliard School in New York City.

Besides our Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Joseph has played with orchestras in Rochester, Pittsburgh, and South Carolina.
