Hull House Volunteers Plan Pig Roast, Beer Tasting

Volunteers of the Hull Family Home & Farmstead will hold their Pig N Pint Pig Roast and Beer Tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, in the Bi-National Peace Garden at the farmstead, 5962 Genesee St. near Pavement Road, Lancaster. The event, which will be held rain or shine, will include food, drinks, raffles and music by City Fiddle. The circa-1810 Hull House -- Erie County's oldest stone dwelling-- will be open for tours throughout the evening. Tickets are pre-sale only for $50 each and include dinner and one beverage. Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go toward the restoration efforts at the Hull House.
