Exit 2 Golf Tournament to Raise Funds for SPCA

Exit 2 Bar & Grille will hold its first annual golf tournament to raise funds for the SPCA Serving Erie County on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Sheridan Park Golf Course in Tonawanda.

The tournament will feature a 10 a.m. shotgun start, contests and prizes on the course, lunch at the turn and a Southern BBQ cookout dinner with a three-hour call bar at Exit 2 following the event. The cost is $100 per person and the event is limited to 24 foursomes. Please visit www.exit2bar.com or contact the restaurant for more information.

“This will be our second SPCA fundraiser in recent months,” said Lisa Galus, owner of Exit 2. “Our first event, a chili, chowder and soup fundraiser held in March, raised more than $3,000 for the SPCA, and we will continue to host the event annually. We are very grateful to the community and to our customers for their generous support.”

Located just off Exit 2 of the I-290 in the Colvin Eggert Plaza, Exit 2 Bar & Grille also announced that their patio is now open for the season, and that several new items have been added to the menu. The restaurant also features $5 happy hour appetizers at the bar daily, daily lunch and dinner specials, live music on Saturdays in the bar starting at 7:30 p.m. (with Busted Stuff on June 20), “Wine Down Wednesday” with $10 bottles of select wine, and their already famous fish fry served every day! You can also book your next event at Exit 2, or let them cater to your location.
