Catholic Charities Offers Workshop Designed to Improve Marital Foundation, Build a Better Home | Events
“Improve your Marital Foundation, Build a Better Home” is a free and informational workshop planned for Feb. 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Infant of Prague Parish, 921 Cleveland Dr., Cheektowaga.
Handling conflict within marriage, marital maintenance, ways to improve communication and roles within a marriage are among the topics to be presented by Catholic Charities Marriage Counseling Center Supervisor David Catalano.
Couples will also have the opportunity to take advantage of free on-site babysitting available during the workshop. To register for the workshop and for babysitting needs, call 839-4406.
The Marriage Counseling Center offers marriage counseling and pre-marital counseling, and covers such issues as separation, relationship loss, sexual problems and marital enrichment. Therapy begins with an objective evaluation of the couple’s communication patterns and marital systems, followed by assistance with increasing their overall marital satisfaction.
