Annual Craft Fair Slated at Annunciation School in Elma

The annual St. Nick Craft Fair, Bake Sale and Basket Raffle will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, December 5, at Annunciation School, 7580 Clinton St., Elma.

 The event, sponsored by the Annunciation Home School Guild, will also feature decorated fresh wreaths for purchase, a “Taste of Annunciation” appetizer booth, refreshments and much more. Admission is free.

‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ Ready to Delight Theatre Patrons

A Western New York favorite — Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat — is ready to take the stage at the glorious and historic Grand Theatre in nearby London, Ontario, from November 24 through January 2. It’s a perfect opportunity to get away and relax a bit during the busy holiday season!

Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, this production of Joseph is directed by Susan Ferley.

Tickets are still available for Pet Connection’s Holiday Concert and Dinner Dance taking place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4, at the Hearthstone Manor in Depew. The event includes dinner, entertainment by Jack Civiletto and The Pyramid Band, a huge basket auction and much more.

One lucky door prize winner will take home four one-day Disney Hopper Passes valued at $544!

Trocaire College to Host Artisan Show

Trocaire College will host its first Artisan Show on Saturday, November 20th from 11 am – 4 pm at the Russell J. Salvatore School located at 6681 Transit in Lancaster (behind Russell’s Steaks, Chops & More). 

All artists create handmade pieces - in jewelry, woodworking, photography and much more.  A portion of the proceeds benefits the Trocaire Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Food Bank of WNY Partners with Nickel City Roast Coffee from NOCO Express

Throughout November and December, NOCO Express Stores will donate ten cents from every cup of Nickel City Roast Coffee sold in-store to the Food Bank of Western New York.

“If each customer were to purchase one cup of coffee each day through the end of the year, they would be providing 34 meals to those in need right here in Western New York,” said Terry Messmer, director of merchandising, NOCO Express. “We are proud to partner with the Food Bank of Western New York this holiday season to support such a deserving cause.”

The Food Bank of Western New York collects and distributes food to its 400 member agencies in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties, distributing one million pounds of food per month, assisting 100,000 people in need.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Pet Connection Programs Inc., a special care shelter for dogs and cats located in Marilla. Please purchase a ticket and help us keep our doors open to future animal rescues!

EARTHLINGS Screening at The Screening Room

There will be a FREE screening of Earthlings held at The Screening Room, located at 3131 Sheridan Drive on Monday November 22nd at 6pm. Snacks will be available. Donations are appreciated, and will be collected with half being donated to Nation Earth, the makers of the film, and the other to Farm Sanctuary. (See the official trailer after the fold. )
