Two Shows of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody

University at Buffalo's Center for the Arts will be hosting two performances of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody at the Mainstage Theater. On Apr. 29 and Apr. 30, grab your best girlfriends and be prepared to get spanked. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. but arrive at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy a signature drink by Falletta's Restaurant at the cash bar, or shop around at area businesses in the Atrium Area.

International Food Festival to Bring Tastes of the World to Nearby London

The International Food Festival, an annual event featuring a wide variety of international cuisine selections, world craft vendors, carnival rides and live entertainment, makes a tasty return to beautiful Victoria Park in nearby London, Ontario, from June 21-23.

From hot and spicy to cool and sweet, the International Food Festival will take you around the world and have you home after dinner. The event will feature appetizers, desserts and full meals. Portuguese, Caribbean, Mexican, Chinese, Serbian, Italian, Polish and Greek are just some of the dishes to be enjoyed!

Western New York to Join the Million March Against Child Abuse

 

For the first time in American history on April 22, 2013, people in 200 cities and 45 states will join and will walk together in solidarity to raise awareness of child abuse and crimes against children at the inaugural Million March Against Child Abuse. Buffalo will be one of the participating cities.  Child advocate groups, churches, parents, teachers and many other concerned citizens from across Western New York (WNY) will take part in this national event and will converge on Lafayette Square in Downtown Buffalo and March to Niagara Square loudly voicing their collective outrage against child abuse along their route.

Eclectic Improv Company Bringing Interactive Show to Lancaster

Just off a seven-year stint at Shea’s Smith Theatre, the Eclectic Improv Company is coming to the Lancaster High School auditorium for a one-night engagement.

Eclectic Improv will bring its fast-paced, family-friendly interactive show complete with its characters, sketches and songs to the district from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the high school, 1 Forton Drive.

The Lancaster District PTO Council is selling tickets for $5 for adults and $3 for students, and children younger than 12 will be admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door or in advance at all Lancaster school offices, the Lancaster District Office at 177 Central Ave. or by calling 913-5257.
