West Seneca Farmers’ Market to Conclude Season with Customer Appreciation Day

Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, will conclude its 2015 season with Customer Appreciation Day from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.

The weekly market takes place on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall. The outdoor venue features nearly 30 vendors selling a wide variety of products. In the event of unfavorable weather, the market moves into the parking lot in front of the West Seneca Ice Rink.

Highlights of Customer Appreciation Day on Sept. 3 will include a return visit from “Anna” and “Elsa” from the movie “Frozen” from 4 to 5:30 p.m., so be sure to bring the kids and a camera! Several participating vendors will also offer a special price on one or more of their products.

One local community group hosts an informational table at the market each week. Joining the market on Sept. 3 will be Cub Scout Pack #416.
