Sister's Easter Catechism at Shea's

Sister's Easter Catechism at Shea's

Celebrate the Easter Season with Sister as she answers time worn questions of the season like “Who was Mary Magdalene?”, “Why isn’t Easter on the same day every year like Christmas?”, and “Will My Bunny Go To Heaven?”.

Part pageant, and wHOLY hysterical, this latest of the sinfully funny Late Nite Catechism series unearths the origins of Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, Easter baskets, Easter bonnets, and, of course, those yummy Easter Peeps. Sister answers questions about Saint Francis, patron saint of animals, pet heaven (where do my pets go?), and the significance of those adorable baby chicks!

Get ready to participate as Sister runs her own version of the Easter Egg Hunt, with special rewards, and candy give-aways.

Columnist Rosemond to Share Parenting Advice in Lancaster, Clarence

Columnist Rosemond to Share Parenting Advice in Lancaster, Clarence

Delivering love and leadership from toddlerhood to the teenage years is vital to raising strong, independent children.

This is the message syndicated columnist John Rosemond will share with members of the Depew, Lancaster and Clarence communities during a series of discussions Tuesday, April 12.

The first presentation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lancaster Youth Bureau, 200 Oxford Ave., Village of Lancaster, while the second will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Clarence High School, 9625 Main St., Clarence.

Rosemond, the author of 11 best-selling parenting books, will offer advice to parents in a humorous, relaxed and engaging atmosphere. He will share his ideas on how love and leadership are sought by children from their parents, but love is sometimes weakened by well-intentioned enabling and leadership by attempts from parents to be “popular” with their children.
