When it comes time to take a vacation, don't forget to invite your family pet along for the ride. Traveling with your pet adds an extra element of fun to your getaway and means you don't have to make separate arrangements for feeding and boarding your pet while you are gone. 

There are also a few things you can do to make sure your pet enjoys your vacation as much as the family. Here are tips to keep your pet happy and healthy during your travels. 

There is a hidden treasure chest of pizza at a great location in Amherst NY called Toni Pepperoni's. I had dinner there tonight and what a dinner it was!!  It was taken over by new owners a few months ago, the Reese family.  I have to say that the food is absolutely delicious! 

They have about 12 kinds of pizzas.....they have 3 kinds of chicken fingers and fries to go with them......they have a full salad bar (and yes, the salad bar is packed with all of the best of toppings!!!!  And three different types of greens for your salad).  Also in the bar you can find cottage cheese, potato salad, puddings, and changing soups to start your meal!!!

And the beverages are something else really good to talk about.  A ton of different soda flavors to pick from and blue and red icees to boot!  Too many choices for me....so I just opt for the simple....a cup of hot coffee!

Once again, Olcott Beach, N.Y. is trying to show America that it is a great destination vacationer. Krull Park is in the running for Coca-Cola's "America's Favorite Park." The contest is part of the third annual "America Is Your Park" campaign by the beverage maker.

Between now and July 15, 2012, online voting can help Krull Park win a $100,000 grant from Coca-Cola. By logging on to https://apps.facebook.com/coca-colaparks/, you can vote online or on Foursquare. For online voting, you can use the map to search for Krull Park. By clicking the "vote" button, one vote is earned for your park. You can vote as many times as you like.
