Vegetable, Fruit and Flower Share Programs Return to Farmers & Artisans

As the weather slowly improves and we enter the local growing season, Farmers & Artisans in Snyder is now offering its third annual vegetable, fruit and flower share programs. Available for pick-up on Tuesdays or Thursdays at the store, the programs will run from June through October.

Consumers may sign up for one or all shares, and discounts are available when you sign up for multiple shares.

The 22-week vegetable share will entitle subscribers to an assortment of just-picked local vegetables. Weekly shares could include lettuce, onions, beans, beets, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn, kale, carrots, summer and winter squash, potatoes and more based on produce being harvested. This share feeds three to four people.

The fruit share runs for 18 weeks and will lead off with juicy strawberries and then progress to cherries, blueberries, raspberries, melons, peaches, plums, pears, apples, grapes and more from Niagara County and Eden Valley farmers. This share is adequate for two to three people.

The 18-week flower share will brighten your home or office with a bountiful bouquet of fresh-cut flowers, also grown in Western New York.

Share reservations are required and are now being accepted.
