WNY Residents Arrested for DWI | News

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Deputy Matthew Fuqua was patrolling on Main St. in the Town of Clarence when he stopped a vehicle for speeding. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, 49 year old Timothy Caldwell, was intoxicated. Caldwell was arrested for DWI and a breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .14%. He was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarence Court at a future date.
Deputy Amy Klimowicz was patrolling Boston State Rd. in the Town of Boston looking for a possible intoxicated driver that had reportedly left a domestic disturbance in the Town of Hamburg and was possibly heading to an address in Boston. Deputy Klimowicz located the vehicle and determined the driver, 38 year old Jenny Helty, was intoxicated. Helty was arrested and charged with DWI. A breath test showed Helty's blood alcohol level to be .19% which resulted in her DWI being upgraded to Aggravated DWI. Helty was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Boston Court at a future date.
