While it may sound like Good Luck, it’s actually part of a bigger picture lesson, thanks to Robby Takac, Bob James and the local non-profit Music is Art.

For One Jr. Sabres Player, a Special Christmas Reunion

For One Jr. Sabres Player, a Special Christmas Reunion

Jonas Fredriksson is long, long way from home in his pursuit of a hockey career.  For the second straight season, he's in North America, this year playing for the Buffalo Junior Sabres.

As you can imagine, being so far away from home to play hockey means very limited opportunities to see his family.

This Christmas, however, his father is in Western New York to spend the Holidays with him.  Johan Fredriksson flew in to Buffalo just hours before the team's game Monday, December 19 at the Northtown Center at Amherst.  Fredriksson recorded an assist as the Jr. Sabres defeated the Brampton Capitals, 8-2.

Afterward, both Fredrikssons spoke for the team's "Junior Sabres Journal" video series, which is featured on their website, www.buffalojuniorsabres.com
