It’s a “can’t miss” event.  A day full of softball, team camaraderie, and so much family fun!

When you register your softball team for the CAID Day At The Park Softball Tournament, you are signing up to not only take part in a co-ed one pitch softball tourney that teams return year after year for, you are also signing up for a great cause.  The registration deadline is July 1!!!

We have teams who have taken part in this tourney multiple years.  It’s an event that people move their summer schedules around.

It’s scheduled for August 10 at Sunshine Park on East and West Road in West Seneca.

Imagine yourself standing in the middle of Jim Ball Stadium on Erie Community College South campus with 150 of the world’s most talented musical athletes, learning what it takes to perform at the highest level. On June 27, Western New York youth and adults alike will have the chance to do this and more with world-renowned drum corps, The Cadets.

Music is Cool, hosted by The Cadets, and presented by Drum Corps International in cooperation with Drums Along the Waterfront and Erie Community College, returns the finest in music and marching educational programming to Western New York. Participants will experience everything from warm-up to sectional rehearsal to a “show-and-tell session” with the corps.

Erie County Legislator Edward Rath announces that a free guided walk at Akron Falls Park will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. The walk is part of the “Be Active Erie County!” series to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. 

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Cummings Lodge, 44 Parkview Drive Akron.

“Akron Falls is a great place for hiking, featuring of course the waterfalls. This is a perfect opportunity to walk through the park and learn more about all it has to offer,” said Legislator Rath. 

The series concludes on Saturday, June 22 at Chestnut Ridge Park
